SOUTH BELOIT — Linda Jean Beaird Eaton, 55, of South Beloit, went to meet her Lord & Savior on Saturday, Feb. 3, 2018 in her parent’s home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born May 19, 1962, the daughter of Ray and Shirley (Shaffer) Beaird in Rochelle. Linda was a 1980 graduate of Mesa High School, Mesa, Ariz. She married Ronald Eaton on Dec. 13, 1986 in Apache Junction, Ariz. He predeceased her on January 15, 2002.
Linda was employed by Mercy Health System as a Medical Assistant. She was a former member of the Cornerstone Church of God, Beloit, Wis. Linda loved spending time with her granddaughter and best friend forever, Lily. She enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, hiking, and fishing. Linda also enjoyed taking trips to Wisconsin Dells, watching movies, and her cat, Mary.
Survivors include her daughters, Jessica Rae (Jesse) Eaton-Singh, Erica Renee Eaton both of Beloit, Wis.; son, Ronald Joseph Eaton of Dalton; grandchild, Lily Marie Singh; parents, Ray and Shirley Beaird of South Beloit; brothers, Roger Beaird of Beloit, Wis., and David (Carol) Beaird of South Beloit; sisters, Victoria “Vicky” Golleher of Roscoe, and Susan “Sue” Cline of South Beloit; brother and sister-in-law, Donald Eaton and Jan Eaton; aunts and uncles, Donna Elliot of Sycamore, Nancy (Robert) Jamason of Lacrosse, Wis., Kenneth (Janet) Beaird of Sheldahl, Iowa, Sydney (Shirley) Beaird of Kings, Wayne (Joyce) Beaird of Franklin Grove, Carol (Larry) Heal and Joyce Ruff both of Tucson, Ariz.; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
She was predeceased by her husband, Ronald Eaton; sisters-in-law, Faye and Dorothy Eaton; aunt, Betty Strang; and uncles, Donald Beaird, and Donald, Richard and John Shaffer.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 8 in the Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Rd., Beloit, Wis., with Pastor Chris Eldridge officiating. Burial will be in Rockton Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
