ROCHELLE — The Rochelle City Council will be meeting Tuesday night in regular session with several items on the agenda.Council is expected to vote whether or not to grant a liquor license to a new bar and grill on Washington Street.
Fuzion 6 Casual Bar and Grill submitted an application for a Class R-3 liquor license, which would allow retail sale of alcohol by a restaurant for consumption on the premises. If approved, this will be the seventh R-3 liquor license in the city. City council will also vote on an agreement with the state regarding the South Main Street improvements.
Also on the agenda for Tuesday evening’s meeting is amending an ordinance regarding the old Lincoln School and Hub Theater Properties to include additional parcels surrounding the school.
Also on the agenda for Tuesday evening’s meeting is an ordinance amendment regarding the old Lincoln School and Hub Theater properties, rescinding a prior resolution for the lighting expense, employee benefits, new grant policies, and city staff expense policies.
The meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. at city hall.
