ROCHELLE — Once again the Rochelle Kiwanis Noon Club and the Rochelle Kiwanis Golden K are looking for Little Miss Peanut contestants.
The contest is limited to the first 10 to apply and is open to girls in the Rochelle area ages 7 to 10. This is not a talent contest; contestants will be judged on qualities of personality, poise and pertness in answering questions by the Emcee.

To enter, send the child’s name, date of birth, parents’ name, address and phone number to: Little Miss Peanut Contest, 1010 N. 15th St., Rochelle, IL 61068.
Entries must be received by July 27. The contest will be held Friday, Aug. 17 at 6 p.m. on the main stage during Rochelle’s Lincoln Highway Heritage Festival. Little Miss Peanut will be in the Rochelle and Creston parades and will reign over the Rochelle Kiwanis/Kiwanis Golden K Peanut Day in September.
All entrants will receive prizes and gifts.
