Just For Kix dancers competed at
the Streator Together We Dance
competition on March 4.
Placement
Mini Kix (fourth and fifth
grade) - First place
Wee Kix (second and third
grade) - Second place
Middle Hip Hop (six through
eighth grade) - First place
Mini Hip Hop (fourth and fifth
grade) - First place
Wee Hip Hop (second and

third grade) - Third place
Mini Jazz (fourth and fifth
grade) - First place
Wee Jazz (second and third
grade) - First place
Middle Kix (sixth and seventh
grade) - Third place
Mini Lyrical (second through
fourth grade) - Third place
Rising Stars (sixth through
eighth grade jazz) - Second place
Jr Lyrical (sixth through 11th

“I’m so proud of how the
dancers did. They shined and
supported each other in ways
I’ve never seen before,” director
Kass Smith said. “My heart was
bursting all day.”
The Just for Kix head instructor
is Cecillia Stover.
Teams will compete again at
Decorah, Iowa, on March 24 and
at nationals in Rochester, Minn.,
on April 28 and 29.
