MONROE CENTER — On April 7 at 6:21 p.m., Ogle County Sheriff’s deputies along with Monroe Center fire/EMS responded to a one vehicle rollover crash in the 15000 block of E. Big Mound Rd.
After an investigation, it was determined that Jacob Grover, 29, of Chana, had driven his truck into the south ditch, causing the vehicle to roll over onto the roadway, and coming to rest on the north side of the roadway in the creek. Grover was ejected from the vehicle before the vehicle entered the creek.
Grover was transported to SwedishAmerian Hospital for non life threatening injuries.
Grover was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, along with several traffic citations.
Grover was released on a $3,000 I-bond.
