Man arrested for failure to appear in court

On May 9, Rafael Valencia, 18, of Rochelle, was arrested for failure to appear. Valencia posted the $325 full cash bond and was released with no further court date needed.
On May 10, the following were arrested on outstanding Ogle County warrants:
Jacob M. Belter, 26, of Stillman Valley, for failure to appear. Belter posted $250 of the $1,270 full cash bond and was released. Belter will appear in court on June 25.

Michael S. Dixon, 18, of Davis Junction, for petition to revoke (Domestic Battery). Dixon posted the $3,000/10 percent bond and was released. Dixon will appear in court on June 1.
Richard L. Gallagher, 34, of Oregon, for failure to appear. Gallagher posted the $384 full cash bond and was released with no further court date needed.
Richard M. Lonkert Jr., 60, of Peoria, for failure to appear. Lonkert posted the $1,018 full cash bond but remains in the Ogle County Jail on a sentencing order.
Megan N. Stark, 35, of Chicago, for driving under the influence. Stark posted the $3,000/10 percent bond and was released with a court date of June 1.
On May 10 at approximately 8:50 p.m., Ogle County deputies along with Forreston Fire Department, Forreston EMS and Forreston Police Department responded to a single vehicle roll over accident in the 11000 block of N. IL Route 26. After an investigation it was learned that Jade M. Port, 27, of Freeport, had driven off the roadway. The vehicle struck the ditch which caused the vehicle to overturn. Port and her 3-year-old child were taken to FHN Hospital by Forreston EMS for minor injuries. Port was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, no valid driver’s license, driving on a revoked driver’s license and illegal transportation of alcohol. Port was also cited for improper lane usage, operating a vehicle with no insurance, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and failure to wear a seatbelt. The vehicle was removed from the location by Albers Towing. Port was given an I-Bond and released to FHN Hospital staff. The accident still remains under investigation.
