Deputies arrest man for no valid driver’s license following traffic stop

On Sept. 15 at approximately 2:10 a.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 6000 block of North Illinois Route 251. After a brief investigation, deputies arrested Scott L. Thorne, 48, of Rockford, for no valid driver’s license. Scott was also cited for no insurance, an equipment violation along with a valid Boone County Warrant. Thorne was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was released to correctional staff and held in lieu of bond.
On Sept. 16, James Wilkow was taken into custody on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for aggravated battery with a bond of $20,000/10 percent applies. Wilkow remains in the Ogle County Jail and was scheduled to appear in court Sept. 17.
On Sept. 16 the following people were arrested for Ogle County outstanding warrants:
Jessica Erdman, 42, of Rochelle, for failure to appear. Erdman has a bond of $4,635 and was scheduled to appear in court Sept. 16.
Vidal R. Mancilla, 28, of Rochelle, for failure to appear. Mancilla has a bond of $11,448 and was scheduled to appear in court Sept. 16.
Darrell D. Reed, 32, of Byron, for domestic battery warrant. Reed has a bond of $25,000/10 percent applies. Reed was scheduled to appear in court Sept. 16.
