Man arrested for no valid license


On June 4 at 12:39 p.m., Ogle County Sheriff’s deputies stopped a white Nissan Maxima in the 17,000 block E. Twombly Rd. in Ogle County for speeding. After a further investigation the driver of the vehicle, Javier Fisher Sanchez, 29, of Rochelle, was arrested for driving with no valid Illinois driver’s license and speeding. Javier Fisher Sanchez was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he posted bond and was given a June court date.
The following people were arrested for Ogle County outstanding warrants:
Patricia Castro, 51, of Aurora, for failure to appear. Castro had a bond of $4,746. Castro had bond reduced to $100. Castro did post the $100 bond and was released from the Ogle County Jail. Castro will have to return to court on July 30.
Cathy L. Coleman, 48, of Stillman Valley, for failure to appear. Coleman had a bond of $566. Coleman posted $566 bond and was released from the Ogle County Jail. Coleman does not have to return for court.
Mindy Durbin, 31, of Rockford, was arrested for failure to appear. Durbin had a bond of $2922.90. Durbin was given a $1,000 recognizance bond. Durbin was released from the Ogle County Jail. Durbin will have to return for court on May 25.
On June 4 at approximately 8:16 p.m., deputies initiated a traffic stop on IL Route 26 near Lanark road. After further investigation, Elizabeth Legault, 42, of Freeport, was placed under arrest for driving while license revoked. Legault was also cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle and expired registration. Legault was transported to the Ogle County Jail where she was held in lieu of bond.
On June 4 at approximately 2:15 p.m., deputies responded to a single vehicle rollover accident in the 2000 block of South Lowell Park Rd. After an investigation it was determined a southbound vehicle driven by Emily Bolens, 16, of Polo, failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway and lost control. The vehicle entered the north ditch where it overturned multiple times. Bolens and a female juvenile passenger were both transported to KSB Hospital by Polo EMS for treatment of apparent minor injures.
On June 5, Kamal Abdahallah, 43, of Rockford, arrested for failure to appear. Abdahallah had a bond of $9,662.14. Abdahallah was given a $1,000 recognizance bond. Abdahallah was released from the Ogle County Jail and have to return to court on June 25.
