Man arrested on charges of aggravated domestic battery

On April 17, Matthew A. Hood, 32, of Ashton, was arrested for an outstanding Ogle County warrant for aggravated domestic battery. Hood posted the $25,000/10 percent bond and was released. Hood will return to court on May 18.
On April 18 at approximately 6:15 p.m., deputies initiated a traffic stop near the intersection of Pines Rd. and Devils Backbone Rd. After further investigation Linda Abbot, 21, of Oregon, was placed under arrest for driving while license suspended. Abbott was transported to the Ogle County Jail where she was held in lieu of bond.
On April 19, the Ogle County Sheriff’s office arrested Antonio Torres, 31, of Rochelle, for no valid driver’s license. Torres was held in lieu of bond at the jail.

On April 19, Wesley Meadows, 23, of Rochelle, was arrested for driving while license suspended. Meadows has a bond of $3,000/10 percent. Meadows was scheduled to appear in court April 20.
On April 19 at approximately 6 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of south IL Route 251. After a short investigation, Pedro Hernandez-Martinez, 46, of Rochelle, was arrested for no valid driver’s license.  Hernandez was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.
On April 19 at 11:06 p.m., following a traffic stop on I-39, deputies arrested Michael W. Uttecht, 36, of Steward, for driving without a valid license. Uttecht was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.
On April 19, Ogle County deputies conducted a traffic stop on a black Mitsubishi in the area of IL Route 251 and IL Route 64. After an investigation, Victor Jaimes, 19, of Davis Junction, was arrested for driving while license suspended. Jaimes was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond. He was also issued a written warning for two equipment violations.
On April 20, Ogle County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the 4000 block of S. Daysville Rd., Oregon, in regard to a one vehicle roll over crash that was unoccupied. After an investigation, the driver of the vehicle, Jason Parks of Franklin Grove was located a short distance away and arrested. Parks was transported by Oregon Ambulance to KSB Hospital Dixon for his non life threatening injuries. Parks was cited for driving under the influence of alcohol, leaving the scene of a crash, and failure to reduce speed to avoid a crash. He was given an I-Bond and will have to attend an upcoming court date.
