Man arrested on felony predatory sexual assault charge

On Oct. 9 at approximately 2 p.m., Ogle County Sheriff’s detectives arrested Robert A. Hardt, 39, of Davis Junction, for Predatory Criminal Sexual Assault, a Class X Felony.
The arrest stems from an investigation which began in September of 2018 in which Hardt is alleged to have sexual contact with a minor.
Hardt was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held without bond.
Hardt appeared in court on Oct. 10 and his bond was set at $250,000/10 percent applies.
On Oct. 8, Kaile M. Boney, 25, of Byron, was arrested for driving while license suspended. Boney had a bond of $3,000/10 percent applies. Boney did post the bond of $3,000/10 percent bond. Boney will return to court on Oct. 26. Boney was released from the Ogle County Jail.
On Oct. 9, Steven Huffstatler, 28, of DeKalb, was arrested on an outstanding Ogle County warrant. The warrant was for driving while license suspended. Huffstatler had a bond of $3,000/10 percent applies. Huffstatler was scheduled to return to court on Oct. 10.
On Oct. 9, Robert Bockman, 37, of DeKalb, was arrested on an outstanding Ogle County warrant. The warrant was for driving while license suspended. Bockman had a bond of $50,000/10 percent applies. Bockman was scheduled to appear in court Oct. 10.
On Oct. 9, Jacob Belter, 26, of Stillman Valley, was arrested on an outstanding Ogle County warrant. The warrant was for failure to appear. Belter had a full cash bond of $1,020. Belter was scheduled to appear in court Oct. 10.
On Oct. 9, Sarah Hensley, 32, of DeKalb, was arrested on an outstanding Ogle County warrant. The warrant was for failure to appear. Hensley had a full cash bond of $2,045. Hensley was scheduled to appear in court Oct. 10.
On Oct. 9, Yair Mejia- Gomez, 20, of DeKalb, was arrested on an outstanding Ogle County warrant. The warrant was for failure to appear. Mejia-Gomez had a full cash bond of $401. Mejia- Gomez was scheduled to appear in court Oct. 10.
On Oct. 9, Michael Hecathorn, 55, of Polo, was arrested on an outstanding Ogle County warrant. The warrant was for failure to appear. Hecathorn had a full cash bond of $456. Hecathorn was scheduled to appear in court Oct. 10.
On Oct. 9, Scott James, 47, of Oregon was arrested on an outstanding Ogle County warrant. The warrant was for failure to appear. James had a full cash bond of $161. James was scheduled to appear in court Oct. 10.
