Man arrested on felony warrant

On Feb. 18, Ogle County Sheriff deputies arrested Santino Sanchez, 20, of Rockford, for driving with no valid driver’s license and for a Rockford felony warrant. Sanchez was arrested by deputies on Illinois Route 251 near Holcomb after being stopped for speeding. Sanchez was cited for no valid license and speeding and was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he is being held for the outstanding warrant.
Feb. 20
On Feb. 20 at approximately 3:52 p.m., deputies performed a traffic stop in the 8,000 block of North Freeport Road. After investigation, deputies issued Angela Bahr, 30, of Beloit, Wisconsin, a citation for driving while license suspended. Bahr was additionally issued citations for operating an uninsured vehicle and operating a vehicle while the registration is suspended. Bahr was released on an I-Bond to appear in court at a later date.

Feb. 22
On Feb. 22, Robert Disch was arrested on an outstanding Ogle County warrant. Disch remained in custody at the Ogle County Jail with a bond of $3,408. Disch was scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 23.
Feb. 23
On Tuesday, Feb. 23 at 1 a.m., Ogle County deputies stopped a vehicle on Interstate 39 at mile marker 109 for speeding, 87 m.p.h. in a 70 m.p.h. zone. Deputies made contact with the driver, Tyson McCarthy, 20, of DeKalb. Upon further investigation, McCarthy was arrested for driving while license suspended, speeding, and a valid Dekalb County warrant. McCarthy was released at the scene on a $2,500 I-bond and given a return court date in DeKalb County of March 29.
