DAVIS JUNCTION — On Wednesday morning March 21 just shortly before 7 a.m. Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the Orchard Hills Landfill, located at 8290 N. IL Route 251, Davis Junction, to the report of a subject who was pinned between a semi-tractor and trailer.
New Milford EMS personnel were dispatched to the scene also to assist the victim was identified as John E. Overstreet, 48, of Davis Junction.
It was learned during the investigation that Overstreet was at the rear of his trailer, removing his tarp, between his trailer and another semi-tractor that was parked behind him.
