ROCHELLE — Marlyn “Lynn” G. Strothman, 69, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2018 in her home. Lynn was born on Nov. 5, 1948 in Manila, Philippines. She married Gary Strothman on June 23, 1973 in Santa Rita, Philippines.
She worked for Crest Foods for several years. Lynn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and the biggest cheerleader. She always stood on her principles, was a straight shooter, and had a heart of gold, we will miss her daily touch, but she will always be in our hearts, and the hearts of others who received her sage advice.
Lynn is survived by her husband, Gary of Rochelle; three children, Nino (Jackie) Strothman of Plainfield and their daughter Ashlynn; Kursten (Jennifer) Strothman of McHenry and their daughters Addison and Gemma; and Kelly (Wesley) Strothman-Corbin of Daphne, Ala., and their daughter Stella.
Cremation care is provided by the Unger-Horner Funeral Home. There will be no services at this time.
