The Rochelle Masonic Lodge recently held a cookout which occurred during the Irish parade downtown to raise funds for the Rochelle Police Department K9 Unit. Lodge members cooked bratwurst and hot dogs. Above are members of the lodge the day of the cookout.
As a result, lodge members (at right) Ken Stoll, treasurer, and Bud Norcross, secretary, were able to present Rochelle Police Officer Ryan Beery and K9 officer Axel with a $600 donation. The Rochelle Masonic Lodge is always glad to support the local police department for the good job they do keeping Rochelle a safe place. (Photos submitted)
