ROCHELLE — Students in May School’s speech team participated in recent speech meets held at Rochelle Middle School and at Rochelle Township High School, competing against students from Eswood, Kings, Creston, Tilton, Lincoln, Central, St. Paul, and RMS. The students performed in front of friends, fellow classmates and family.
“We are so proud of our students that joined speech this year. They practiced hard and had fun,” said Jackleen Potts, May School speech coach. “It takes courage to stand in front of a room and speak to a crowd.”
Vicki Rippentrop, Brittney Wyatt and Potts are coaches for May School.
