ROCHELLE — This Sunday, June 4, is Henry Auchstetter Day at the Flagg Township Museum.
Auchstetter was a dedicated historian and generous benefactor who brought the player piano to the museum and financed the restoration of the piano. He recently passed away.
There will be a dedication of the piano at 2 p.m. Sunday.
The player piano will be playing, light refreshments will be served, and visitors can reminisce about Auchstetter and his dedication to the museum and local history.
The Flagg Township Museum is located at Fourth Avenue and Sixth Street in downtown Rochelle.
