ROCHELLE — The hangar at the Chicagoland Skydiving Center was rocking and rolling Saturday evening. The Midwest Dueling Pianos played a wide range of music genres at the fundraising event hosted by the Rochelle Township High School Education Foundation.
RTHSEF member Angie Seldal said although the exact attendance numbers are not in yet, she estimates about 200 people came out for the night of music entertainment. The event also included a 50/50 raffle and several prize giveaways.
“It was nice to see so many people from the community come out and support this event,” Seldal said. “I’m looking forward to seeing how much we raised Saturday and how many different grants the money is going to fund.”
This is the second year the RTHSEF has hosted the Midwest Dueling Pianos. The piano-playing duo incorporates comedy and encourages audience participation in their shows.
The RTHSEF thanked the community and the sponsors for their support of this event.
