OREGON — On Tuesday, Aug. 24, the Ogle County Master Gardeners gathered to celebrate their volunteer achievements for 2020.
With stay-at-home orders in place and volunteering face to face at a minimum, the Ogle Master Gardeners continued to serve the community in a variety of ways. Twelve volunteers recorded a total of 426 hours for the year.
The University of Illinois Extension office in Ogle County is grateful for the master gardeners and their commitment to continue to serve the community. The master gardeners offer a variety of programming for both youth and adults.
If you are interested in learning more about becoming an Ogle County Master Gardener or providing programming for your organization, please contact Judy Hodge at hodg@illinois.edu. Congratulations to the Ogle County Master Gardeners on a job well done in 2020.
