Ogle County Sheriff's Office arrests woman for failure to appear

On Aug. 12, Kimberly D. Durbin, 58, of Rochelle, was arrested for failure to appear. Durbin paid the $125 full cash bond and was released with no further court date needed. 

Aug. 13

On Aug. 13 the following were arrested for Ogle County outstanding warrants:

Gaylord Widergren, 55, of Byron, for failure to appear. Widergren had a bond of $2,062.82. Widergren received a partial purge of $200. Widergren was able to post bond and was released from the Ogle County Jail. Widergren will return to court on Sept. 24.

Jourdan Mondragon, 41, of Rockford, for armed robbery. Mondragon has a bond of $250,000/10 percent. Mondragon was not able to post bond and will remain in the Ogle County Jail. Mondragon will go back to court on Aug. 22.

On Aug. 13 at 1:33 p.m., Ogle County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of IL Route 72 and Pecatonica Rd. After an investigation, it was determined that a Chevrolet Silverado pick-up being driven by William Jaworski, of Elk Grove Village, failed to reduce his speed to avoid a vehicle turning north onto Pecatonica Rd. There were no injuries to anyone involved in the incident. As a result of the accident, Jaworski was issued a citation for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

Aug. 14

On Aug. 14 at approximately 5 a.m., Ogle County Sheriff’s deputies located a Honda Crosstour stopped in the intersection of Montague Rd. and Pecatonica Rd. The vehicle was being driven by Michael R. Sanchez, 24, of Leaf River. It was determined that Sanchez had run out of gas and the vehicle stalled. It was also found that Sanchez has never been issued a driver’s license in Illinois or any other state. Sanchez was arrested for driving without a license and given an Individual Bond at the scene. Sanchez is due to appear in Ogle County Court at a later date. Fuel was obtained for the vehicle and released to a valid driver.

On Aug. 14 the following were arrested for Ogle County outstanding warrants:

Jason Bennett, 48, of Rockford, for failure to appear. Bennett has a bond of $292 and did not post bond. Bennett was scheduled to appear in court Aug. 15. Bennett remained in the Ogle County Jail.

Charlena Pempilton, 34, of Freeport, for failure to appear. Pempilton has a bond of $411 and did not post bond. Pempilton will return to court on Aug. 16. Pempilton will remain in the Ogle County Jail.

Ciara Ancona, 31, of Rockford, for possession of controlled substance and failure to appear. Ancona has a bond of $1,500/10 percent and $3,354. Ancona did not post bond and was scheduled to appear in court Aug. 15.
