On April 17 at 4:46 p.m., Ogle County Sheriff Deputies located a gray 2018 Jeep unlawfully parked at Illinois Route 64 and Stone Hill Road. After a short investigation, deputies arrested the driver, Tyler Woltmann, 27, for driving under the influence of alcohol. Woltmann was also issued citations for unlawful parking and unlawful transportation of alcohol. Woltmann was transported to the Ogle Co Jail in Oregon and held in lieu of bond.

April 18
On April 18 at 3:32 a.m., sheriff’s deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 1000 block of West Illinois Route 64 for an equipment violation. After an investigation, Quinn Rothermel, 23, Oregon, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. Rothermel was also issued citations for no front registration and improper use of registration. Rothermel was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.
April 19
On April 19 at 2:53 a.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of Blackhawk Drive and Lincoln Street in Byron for an equipment violation After an investigation, Gina Ellis, 34, Lyndon, was arrested on an in-state warrant. Ellis was transported to the Ogle County Jail. After arriving at the jail, Ellis was additionally charged with possession of hypodermic syringes, possession of a controlled substance (cocaine) and possession of methamphetamine. Ellis was held at the Ogle County jail pending an appearance before a judge.
