On April 29 at 11:15 p.m., Ogle County Sheriff Deputies conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of North Illinois Route 2 and North Deer Path Road. After investigation, deputies arrested Ryan McKee, 20, Rockford, for driving with no valid driver's license. McKee was also issued citations for operating an uninsured motor vehicle and an equipment violation. McKee was transported to the Ogle County Jail in Oregon where he was released to correctional staff and held in lieu of bond.
On April 29, sheriff deputies arrested John Rose, 28, Belvidere, for driving while license suspended. Rose was arrested by deputies on I-39 near Monroe Center after being stopped for speeding. Rose was held in lieu of bond at the Ogle County Jail.
