On Aug. 24 at approximately 11:20 a.m. deputies conducted a traffic stop in the parking lot of Sam's Drive In in Byron for illegal window tint. After a brief investigation, Shykierah Taylor, 23, of Rockford, was placed under arrest for no valid driver's license. Taylor was also cited for illegal window tint and expired registration. Taylor was transported to the Ogle County Jail where she was held in lieu of bond.

OREGON – On Aug. 24 at approximately 11:20 a.m. deputies conducted a traffic stop in the parking lot of Sam's Drive In in Byron for illegal window tint. After a brief investigation, Shykierah Taylor, 23, of Rockford, was placed under arrest for no valid driver's license. Taylor was also cited for illegal window tint and expired registration. Taylor was transported to the Ogle County Jail where she was held in lieu of bond.
On Aug. 24 at approximately 8 a.m. deputies conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Wilson Street and Pine Street in Stillman Valley. After a brief investigation, Kaylie Barber, 32, of Stillman Valley, was placed under arrest for driving while license revoked. Barber was also cited for no insurance. Barber was transported to the Ogle County Jail where she was held in lieu of bond.
On Aug. 25 deputies arrested Dorian Bizzle, 19, of Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin for driving while license suspended. Bizzle was arrested by deputies on Interstate 39 near Monroe Center after being stopped for speeding. Bizzle was held in lieu of bond at the Ogle County Jail.
On Aug. 25 at approximately 11:53 a.m. deputies responded to a one vehicle accident with an injury in the 8,000 block of South Carthage Road which occurred earlier in the morning. After investigation, deputies learned Joshua Drake, 39, of Walnut was traveling southbound in the 8,000 block of South Carthage Road while in his Jeep. Drake then partially struck a tree limb in the roadway. Drake traveled partially off of the east side of the roadway while trying to avoid the tree limb. Drake then traveled off of the west side of the roadway before striking a tree, causing heavy front end damage. Drake later checked himself into KSB Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
On Aug. 25 at approximately 4:51 p.m. deputies and the Oregon Fire Department responded to a single vehicle accident in the 2,900 block of South Ridge Road. A preliminary investigation revealed a northbound vehicle being driven by Nathaniel Bramm, 39, of Dixon, traveled of the east edge of the roadway. The vehicle then struck a culvert before coming to a rest in a cornfield. Bramm was transported to KSB Hospital by Oregon EMS for treatment of apparent minor injuries. The accident remains under investigation.
On Aug. 26 at 3:41 a.m. deputies conducted a traffic stop on West Blackhawk Drive at South Union Street in Byron for an equipment violation. After an investigation, Jake Wyatt, 23, of Rochelle was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. Wyatt was also issued citations for no registration light, improper lane usage and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Wyatt was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.
