On Dec. 4 at 3:55 p.m. deputies responded to the 10,000 block of North Illinois Route 2 for a one vehicle accident. After brief investigation, Skylar Luric, 30, of Rockford was arrested for driving while license revoked. Luric was released with an I-Bond on scene and given a return court date.

Ogle County Sheriff’s Report: Dec. 4-6

OREGON — On Dec. 4 at 3:55 p.m. deputies responded to the 10,000 block of North Illinois Route 2 for a one vehicle accident. After brief investigation, Skylar Luric, 30, of Rockford was arrested for driving while license revoked. Luric was released with an I-Bond on scene and given a return court date. 

On Dec. 6 at 2:35 a.m. deputies along with the Rochelle and Flagg Center Fire Departments responded to a rollover crash on Illinois Route 38 and Fisher Road. Investigation by deputies revealed that a Ford truck operated by Emanuel Escatel, 31, of Rochelle was traveling west on Illinois Route 38 when the Ford left the north side of the roadway and struck a culvert. The Ford then overturned and struck a utility pole. Escatel was transported by Rochelle Fire ambulance to Saint Anthony's hospital in Rockford where he was listed in critical condition. The crash remains under investigation by the Sheriff's Office.

On Dec. 6 deputies arrested Andrew Beitia, 19, of Tinley Park for driving on a suspended license. Beitia was arrested by Deputies on Interstate 39 near Illinois Route 64 after being stopped for speeding 118 miles per hour.  Beitia was released on a I-Bond and will appear in Ogle County Court at a later date.

On Dec. 6 at approximately 9:53 p.m. deputies conducted a traffic stop on Interstate 39 at mile marker 102. After a brief investigation, deputies arrested Mika Walley, 27, of Union City, Tennessee for driving while license suspended. Walley was given an I-Bond with a return court date later next month and released on scene.
