On July 6 at 6:50 p.m. deputies responded to Illinois Route 64 and White Rock road for a motorist assist. After a short investigation, deputies arrested Marshall Heide, 29, of Ottawa, for driving while license suspended and unlawful possession of cannabis/improper container. Heide also received citations for expired registration and no insurance. Heide was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.

Ogle County Sheriff’s Report: July 6-8

OREGON — On July 6 at 6:50 p.m. deputies responded to Illinois Route 64 and White Rock road for a motorist assist.  After a short investigation, deputies arrested Marshall Heide, 29, of Ottawa, for driving while license suspended and unlawful possession of cannabis/improper container. Heide also received citations for expired registration and no insurance. Heide was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.

On July 7 at approximately 4:12 p.m., deputies along with Stillman Valley Fire and Lynn Scott Rock Fire responded to the 7,400 Block of North Junction Road in Davis Junction for the report of a one vehicle crash with injuries. It was later determined a pickup truck driven by Tobias Inman, 38, of Davis Junction left the roadway and overturned several times coming to a rest in a corn field. Inman fled the scene into a corn field to which additional personnel was dispatched to the area to assist in locating Inman. Also responding to the scene was Ogle County K9 and drone personnel as well as Flagg Center Fire and Byron Fire. At approximately 7:14 p.m. Inman was located in the corn field just west of the crash scene and taken into custody. Inman was transported to OSF Hospital in Rockford by Stillman Valley Fire for injuries related to the crash. Inman was arrested and released at OSF for driving under the influence, leaving the scene of a personal injury crash, improper lane usage, failure to reduce speed to avoid a crash, failure to wear seatbelt and expired registration. The vehicle was towed from the scene by Maggio’s.

On July 8 at approximately 3:53 p.m. hours, deputies conducted a traffic stop near Illinois Route 2 and Townhall Road. After a brief investigation, Brianna Ogden, 18, of Rockford, was arrested for no valid driver’s license. Ogden was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Ogle County Jail where she was held in lieu of bond. Ogden was also cited for a registration violation and no insurance.
