OREGON — On July 10 at approximately 3:51 p.m., deputies initiated a traffic stop on Kennedy Hill Road, just into Winnebago County. After further investigation Jamar Baker, 32 of Rockford, was placed under arrest for Driving While License Revoked. Baker was also cited for Obstructed View. Baker was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.
On July 11 at approximately 12:38 a.m., Ogle County Sheriff’s deputies conducted a traffic stop on West Blackhawk Drive at North Colfax Street in the city of Byron for an equipment violation. After an investigation, Ray Smith, 54 of Leaf River was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. Smith was transported to the Ogle County jail and held in lieu of bond. Smith was also cited for illegal transportation of alcohol, and driving with no lights when required.
