Ogle County Sheriff’s Report: March 22-24, 2023

OREGON — On March 22 at approximately 7:33 p.m. deputies conducted a traffic top in the 4,000 block of West Illinois Route 64. After an investigation, deputies arrested Angela Oester, 47, of Sterling, for aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol, aggravated driving while license revoked, driving under the influence of alcohol and driving while license revoked. Oester was issued additional citations for improper lane usage and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Oester was transported to the Ogle County Jail, where she was held pending a court appearance before a judge.
On March 22 at approximately 3:33 p.m. deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 2,400 block of North White Rock Road. After an investigation, deputies placed Kent Hull, 61, of Kings under arrest for driving while license revoked. Hull was additionally issued a citation for operating an uninsured vehicle. Hull was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he is being held in lieu of bond.
On March 23 at 10:37 p.m. deputies conducted a traffic stop on a 2017 Chevy Malibu at Illinois Route 38 and Dement Road for a registration violation. After a short investigation, deputies arrested Mark Rocco, 54, of DeKalb, for driving while his license was suspended. Rocco was released on scene and will appear in court at a later date.
On March 24 at about 1:22 a.m. members of the Ogle County Narcotics Task Force located and arrested Nicholas Marshall, 35, of Polo, in the area of Botanic Avenue and West Center Street in Mt. Morris. Marshall was wanted on an arrest warrant for possession of methamphetamine with the intent to deliver out of Ogle County with a bond of $500,000 or 10 percent. The Ogle County Narcotics Task Force was assisted by numerous Crime Stopper tips and The Mt. Morris Police Department. Marshall was transported to the Ogle County Jail and was scheduled to appear in court on March 24 at 1 p.m.
All individuals are considered innocent until proven guilty.
