On May 11, Brian A. Rosenbalm, 39, of Leaf River was arrested at 11:21 p.m. for aggravated driving under the influence (third offense), driving under the influence and leaving the scene of an accident after deputies responded to the area of Pines Road and Ridge Road for a report of a one vehicle crash. Rosenbalm also received citations for improper lane use, driving on the shoulder and squealing tires. Rosenbalm was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond. Deputies were assisted on scene by Mt. Morris Police and Oregon Fire

Ogle County Sheriff

On May 13, Ebtihal Albaiaty, 37, of Sterling was arrested for driving while license suspended and a Whiteside County warrant after being stopped for speeding by on Interstate 39 near Monroe Center. Albaiaty was held in lieu of bond at the Ogle County Jail.
