Ogle County Sheriff’s Report: Nov. 22-24

On Nov. 22 at 11:51 p.m. deputies were dispatched to a disabled vehicle at the intersection of West Highway 52 and South Illinois Route 26. During the course of the investigation, Kristina J. Finlen, 38, of Plainfield was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. Finlen was also cited for roadway parking impede movement and improper container of cannabis/driver. Finlen was transported to the Ogle County Jail where she was held in lieu of bond. Deputies were assisted on scene by the Polo Police Department.

Ogle County Sheriff’s Report: Nov. 22-24

OREGON — On Nov. 22 at 11:51 p.m. deputies were dispatched to a disabled vehicle at the intersection of West Highway 52 and South Illinois Route 26. During the course of the investigation, Kristina J. Finlen, 38, of Plainfield was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. Finlen was also cited for roadway parking impede movement and improper container of cannabis/driver. Finlen was transported to the Ogle County Jail where she was held in lieu of bond. Deputies were assisted on scene by the Polo Police Department. 

On Nov. 22 at approximately 7:16 a.m. deputies along with Oregon Fire and EMS responded to the intersection of Illinois Route 2 and Mud Creek Road in reference to a two-vehicle accident. After an investigation, it was learned that the driver of the box truck, Ronnette Newson, 39, of Chicago turned westbound onto Mud Creek Road, at which time her vehicle overturned and struck a vehicle which was stopped at the stop sign waiting to turn northbound on Illinois Route 2. Newson was issued a citation for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. Newson was transported to KSB Hospital by Oregon EMS for minor injuries. Maggio’s Towing removed the vehicle from the location.

On Nov. 22 at 6:55 p.m. deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 1,000 block of South Skare Road. After a short investigation, deputies arrested Zackery A. Letcher, 26, of Dixon for possession of cannabis 500-2,000 grams. Letcher was transported to Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.

On Nov. 23 at approximately 10:39 a.m. deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of East Hitt Street in Mt. Morris. After investigation, deputies placed Erik Rivera-Alvarado, 20, of Rockford under arrest for no valid Illinois driver's license. Rivera-Alvarado was additionally issued a citation for an operating an uninsured vehicle. Rivera-Alvarado was released on an I-Bond at the scene and given a future court date.   

On Nov. 23 at 9:20 p.m. deputies conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of North Illinois Route 64 and East Mowers Road. After a short investigation, deputies arrested Keith L. Sanders, 34, of Rockford for improper container of cannabis/driver and unlawful use of cannabis/driver. Sanders was released on I-Bond.
On Nov. 23 at approximately 10:26 p.m. deputies conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Mulford Road and East Mowers Road. After investigation, deputies arrested Jordan Johnson, 26, of Rockford, for driving under the influence of alcohol. Passenger Jerry Robinson Jr., 33 of Rockford was also arrested for possession of a controlled substance (crack/cocaine) and possession of drug paraphernalia. Johnson was issued citations for operating an uninsured motor vehicle, expired registration, expired driver's license, open container/alcohol and an equipment violation. Both Johnson and Robinson Jr. were transported to the Ogle County Jail, where they were released to correctional staff and held in lieu of bond. 

On Nov. 24 deputies arrested Brandon Eash, 37, of Rockford for driving while license revoked without a BAID system. Eash was arrested by deputies on Interstate 39 near Monroe Center after being stopped for speeding. Eash was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.
