On Nov. 25. at 6 p.m., deputies responded to the 5000 block of East Bradley Road in Byron for a report of a disturbance. After a short investigation, deputies arrested Charles R. Brown, 56, of Byron, for disorderly conduct. Brown was transported to the Ogle County Jail and will appear in court at a later date.

Ogle County Sheriff's Report Nov. 25-28

On Nov. 25. at 6 p.m., deputies responded to the 5000 block of East Bradley Road in Byron for a report of a disturbance. After a short investigation, deputies arrested Charles R. Brown, 56, of Byron, for disorderly conduct. Brown was transported to the Ogle County Jail and will appear in court at a later date.


Nov. 27


On Nov. 27 at approximately 9:16 p.m., Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies performed a traffic stop at the intersection of Mulford and Edson Road. After investigation, deputies place Bonnie Demaio, 45, of Rockford, under arrest for driving while license suspended. Demaio was transported to the Ogle County Jail where she was held in lieu of bond.


On Nov. 27 Ogle County Sheriff’s deputies arrested David Strebing for retail theft. Strebing was transported to the Ogle County Jail. Strebing had a bond of $5,000/10 percent. Strebing appeared in court on Nov. 27 and was given a recognizance bond. Sterbing has a return court date of Dec. 9 at 11:15 a.m.


On Nov. 27 the following people were arrested on outstanding Ogle County warrants:
Enrique Vasquez, 27, of Rochelle, for failure to appear. Vasquez has a bond of $622 full cash. Vasquez posted bond and has no return court date.


Amber Keener, 35, of Dixon, for failure to appear. Keener has a bond of $3,455 full cash. Keener posted bond and has no return court date.


Jay Moore, 45, of Rockford, for failure to appear. Moore has a bond of $1,529 full cash. Moore appeared in court on Nov. 27 and was given a recognize bond and will return to court on Dec. 30 at 9 a.m.


On Nov. 27 at 11:38 p.m., Ogle County Sheriff’s deputies conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Third and Illinois streets in Oregon for a traffic lane violation. After a short investigation, deputies arrested Tonya Carlson, 40, of Oregon, for driving while license suspended, driving under the influence, aggravated DUI, along with a citation for improper lane use and improper turn signal. Carlson was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.


Nov. 28


On Nov. 28 at approximately 5:30 a.m., Ogle County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a two-vehicle accident that occurred in the 4000 block of South Illinois Route 26 in Polo. After an investigation Jordan M. Asbury, 21, of Sterling, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. Asbury was southbound on Illinois Route 26 and ran into another vehicle that was also southbound. No injuries requiring medical transport were reported by anyone involved in this incident. Asbury was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he is held in lieu of bond. Asbury has a bond of $3,000/10 percent. Asbury posted bond and will appear in court on Jan. 24 at 9 a.m.
