Ogle County Sheriff’s Report: Oct. 27-30, 2023

OREGON — On Oct. 27 at 7:13 p.m. deputies were dispatched to North Illinois Route 26 and West Coffman Road for a two-vehicle accident with injuries. After an investigation, it was determined that a white 2000 Chevrolet Camaro was northbound, had crossed the center line, striking a silver 2022 Acura MDX head on. The occupants of both vehicles were treated and released by Forreston Fire/EMS. The driver of the white Chevrolet Camaro, Christopher M. Forney, 28, of Forreston, was arrested for aggravated driving under the influence (while license revoked), DUI, and driving while license revoked. Forney was additionally issued citations for improper display of registration, improper lane usage, operating a vehicle with expired registration, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and driving without lights when required. Forney was transported to the Ogle County Jail before being released with a notice to appear. Deputies were assisted on scene by the Forreston Police Department, Stephenson County Sheriff's Office K9, and the Forreston Fire Department. 

On Oct. 27 at approximately 10:47 p.m. deputies conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Illinois Route 251 and Bethel Road.  After investigation, deputies placed Ebabacha Esale, 31, of Rockford under arrest of driving while license suspended. Esale was additionally issued a citation for driving with a suspended registration and operating an uninsured vehicle. Esale was later released on a notice to appear at the scene.  

On Oct. 27 at approximately 7 a.m. deputies conducted a traffic stop on a 2007 Chevrolet Malibu at the intersection of Illinois Route 64 and Moore Road. After conducting an investigation, Camilo Ibarra Jr., 56, of Rochelle, was arrested and cited for no valid license. Ibarra was also issued a citation for disobeying a stop sign. Ibarra was given a notice to appear and released from the scene.

On Oct. 28 at approximately 5:48 p.m. deputies conducted a traffic on North Freeport Road, near the intersection of Canada Road. After a brief investigation, deputies arrested John T. Ceazer, 32, of Madison, Wisconsin, for driving while license suspended. Barber was additionally issued citations for operating an uninsured motor vehicle and expired registration. Ceazer was issued a notice to appear and released on scene.

On Oct. 29 at approximately 6:44 p.m. deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 6,000 block of North Illinois Route 251. After investigation, deputies placed Jhonny Alexis Jaimes-Valero, 38, of Elgin, under arrest for no valid driver's license. Jaimes-Valero was additionally issued citations for driving with a suspended registration and operating an uninsured vehicle.  Jaimes-Valero was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was released on a notice to appear.

On Oct. 30 at approximately 10:47 p.m. deputies conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of 2nd Street and 8th Avenue in Rochelle. After investigation, deputies placed Joe Murray, 39, of Franklin Grove under arrest for driving while license suspended. Murray was additionally issued a citation for no valid registration. Murray was released on a notice to appear at the scene and given a future court date.

On Oct. 30 at approximately 7:22 p.m. deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 6,000 block of N. River Road. After investigation, deputies placed Jose Ramirez Vazquez, 39, of Elgin, under arrest for no valid Illinois driver's license. Ramirez Vazquez was additionally issued a citation for operating an uninsured vehicle. Ramirez Vazquez was released on a notice to appear at the scene and given a future court date.

On Oct. 30 at approximately 7:33 p.m. deputies conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Freeport and Milledgeville Roads. After investigation, deputies placed Yeison Uriel Ulloa Veliz, 22, of Milledgeville under arrest for no valid driver's license. Ulloa Veliz was additionally issued citations for no headlights when required and illegal window tint.  Ulloa Veliz was transported to the Ogle County Jail and released on a notice to appear and given a future court date.

On Oct. 30 at approximately 8:54 p.m. deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 7,000 block of North Kishwaukee Road. After investigation, deputies placed Victor Jesus Castillo-Vasquez, 27, of Neenah, Wisconsin, under arrest for no valid driver's license. Castillo-Vasquez was additionally issued citations for a suspended registration and operating an uninsured vehicle.  Castillo-Vasquez was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was released on a notice to appear and given a future court date.
