ROCHELLE — The Rochelle Area Community Foundation has selected 26 applicants to receive a total of $61,500 in grant distributions for 2019.
“It is always a challenge to make selections from a pool of well qualified applications and this year was no different” said Lauren Hintzsche, Chair of the RACF Grants Committee. “The reward is seeing the results and the impact that these grants make in the community through the organizations who carry out the work.”
The Rochelle Area Community Foundation is hosting a community open house Thursday, April 25 between 4:30 and 6:30 p.m. at SALT 251 on Illinois Route 251 South in Rochelle.  All are welcome to attend.

Local nonprofit organizations serving the needs of the community will be on hand to connect with donors and community members.
Learn about the impact your charitable investment in the Rochelle Area Community Foundation has on these organizations and their programs.
The Foundation plans to reveal the 2019 Grant Recipients, provide an opportunity to learn more about local volunteer opportunities, and each attendee will have the opportunity to recommend an on the spot grant to one of the organizations in attendance!
The Rochelle Area Community Foundation is a charitable nonprofit organization that helps generous people support the causes they care about most, right here in our local community.
