ROCHELLE — It was a beautiful day for the 57th Annual Pet Show at the Flagg-Rochelle Public Library.
About 30 pets and their owners participated in the yearly tradition Tuesday afternoon, including 11 dogs and a bearded dragon named, “Spike.” Assistant director Connie Avery said there were also several stuffed animals.
“We’d like to thank the Hub Hickory Nuts for furnishing the milk and cookies to help celebrate “June is Dairy Month,” the staff of the library, our volunteers and the parents and grandparents who bring their families for an afternoon of animals and fun,” Avery said.
