ROCHELLE — Come out and help support a local man battling cancer, enjoy some delicious pasta at the same time.
Greg Torres of Stillman Valley currently has stage 4 metastatic colon cancer and his friends and family are hosting “Pasta with a Purpose,” a benefit for him at the Rochelle VFW.
The event will be Saturday, April 24 from 5 p.m. until midnight. Spaghetti dinners will be $10 for adults, while the kids have a choice of spaghetti or a hot dog meal for $5. Carryout meals are available as well.
There will be a 50/50 raffle, auction, bake sale as well as a DJ and dancing.
