ROCHELLE — Northern Rehab Physical Therapy Specialists is pleased to present their inaugural Rochelle Township High School Sports and Health Scholarship to Christina Payton.
Payton, a recently graduated senior at Rochelle Township High School, was chosen for her outstanding achievements in athletics, academics, and choice to pursue a career in the healthcare/sports medicine field. Christina is an all-around athlete who participated on the girls basketball and softball teams all four years in high school. She served as football team manager for two years and boys soccer team manager for one year during her high school tenure. Christina has volunteered in over 400 hours of community service and is a Renaissance member. This fall, Christina will be attending Northern Illinois University for athletic training.
This is the first year Northern Rehab has sponsored a scholarship for a Rochelle Township High School senior and Northern Rehab will continue to support this annually. Northern Rehab is pleased to acknowledge the sportsmanship, athletic and academic excellence, and competitive spirit displayed by this year’s recipient, and we support our community in their sports and academic accomplishments and those promoting active and healthy lifestyles. Northern Rehab extends our congratulations to Christina Payton.
