Pegasus Special Riders kicking off 20th anniversary with festival

DIXON — Pegasus Special Riders is “kicking” off its 20th Anniversary of providing therapeutic horseback riding with a Music Festival at the Dixon VFW on Saturday, April 29.
Doors open at 4:30 p.m. and six live bands will be performing throughout the evening: Tristan Bushman, Acoustic Transporter, Josh Naylon & Friends, Dysfunctional Gents, Lunch with Pedro and Dirty Beet Brothers.
Entry fee is $15, which includes 5 tickets entered into the 50/50 drawing. Food and beverages will be available through the VFW.  
All proceeds from the event will be donated to Pegasus Special Riders to support their mission to facilitate healing and empowerment in the lives of physically, mentally and/or emotionally challenged individuals through a variety of equine-assisted activities and therapies.
