ROCHELLE — Peyton Ezra Dexheimer, 12, passed away Monday, Nov. 19, 2018 at Lurie Children’s Hospital in Chicago. Peyton was born on Jan. 26, 2006 to Valerie Ziemba and Jonathan Dexheimer in Winfield.
Peyton was a very special young man who’s light shined so brightly you can see into his soul. Peyton was tender, loving, gentle, energetic and was so filled with life. Every where Peyton went, he touched someone’s heart very deeply that it left an imprint. There is no doubt this sweet boy was loved by so many and many that hardly knew him as well!
Peyton’s smile alone could turn a frown upside down. Peyton’s laughter was contagious that everyone joined in, and the sparkle in his eyes when he was joyful was intoxicating to watch. Heaven gained an angel and Peyton will forever be missed.
Peyton is survived by his parents, Valerie Ziemba (Mike Judkins) of Rochelle and Jonathan Dexheimer (Kimberly) of Waterman; Peyton’s brothers, Phoenix, Phineas and Devon; Peyton’s sisters Alina, Amayah and Taylor; Peyton’s grandparents, Fred Dexheimer (grandma Dex, God rest her soul) Gary and Susan Ziemba and Grandpa Scott Prazak.
There will be a memorial visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 30, 2018 at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6th St. in Rochelle.
