ROCHELLE — On Thursday, a bronze plaque was installed on the pedestal of the kneeling soldier at the Rochelle Veterans War Memorial at Lawnridge Cemetery. The plaque reads “In Memory of All American Veterans.” Fran Volz (Rochelle War Memorial board member and chief artist) is on the left and Chuck Roberts (president of the Rochelle War Memorial Association) is on the right.
