Preparing for the big show

Members from the Rochelle Fire Department and the Ogle-Lee Fire departments prepared for the annual Fourth of July fireworks display by loading the tubes and racks into their trailer on Wednesday afternoon (left). Crews worked for 12 hours setting up the six different sized tubes and racks that would hold the nearly 1,500 mortars that were shot during the 23-minute show (right) Thursday night.
