ROCHELLE – The Rochelle Area Community Foundation (RACF) will be guest bartending at Flight Deck Bar & Grill on Thursday, May 5 from 6-9 p.m. RACF Board Members will have the honor of serving customers and earning tips that will be donated back to the foundation.

“We love serving our community and working with nonprofit organizations like the Rochelle Area Community Foundation,” Ashley Bick, owner of Flight Deck Bar & Grill, said. “Hosting an event that allows for creative partnership gives us the opportunity to support a nonprofit and give back to Rochelle in an innovative way.”

“We are fortunate to have business owners like Ashley in our community,” Emily Anaya, executive director of the RACF, said. “To offer RACF the opportunity to raise funds and educate people on the foundation through guest bartending is truly a ‘thinking outside the box idea’ that they are helping come to fruition. We want to express our appreciation in advance to Flight Deck Bar & Grill and to their staff for helping us. We are looking forward to a packed house on May 5.”

The RACF is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization designed to connect people who care with causes that matter most to them, here in the Rochelle area.
