RCH announces change to inpatient visitor restrictions this week

Effective Monday, June 20, Rochelle Community Hospital will now allow two visitors at a time per patient on the medical/surgical floor. Patients hospitalized with COVID-19 will not be allowed to have visitors.

ROCHELLE — Effective Monday, June 20, Rochelle Community Hospital will now allow two visitors at a time per patient on the medical/surgical floor. Patients hospitalized with COVID-19 will not be allowed to have visitors.

Family members accompanying patients to the emergency and surgery departments will continue to be limited to one dedicated person for the duration of the visit. Outpatients that are positive or being tested for COVID-19 will not be allowed visitors.

Visitors may be screened for COVID-19 for the safety of patients and staff. Anyone entering RCH must continue to wear a mask and remain properly masked for the duration of their visit anywhere in the facility due to CDC/IDPH requirements for healthcare facilities.
