DEKALB — The Lady Hubs sophomore softball team won its second straight game on Wednesday, cruising over the DeKalb Barbs by a score of 15-6 to improve to 2-10 on the season.
Emilee Dueringer came up big for Rochelle, going 3-for-4 at the plate with a team-high three RBIs. Macy Luxton totaled a team-high three hits, while Maddi O’Rorke went 2-for-3 with two walks in the victory.
Freshman Ally Reish earned her second sophomore victory on the pitcher’s mound, striking out five DeKalb hitters en route to the win. The Lady Hubs will try for three in a row when they play the Sterling Golden Warriors on Thursday.
