ROCHELLE — The Rochelle Masonic Lodge is holding a gun raffle fundraiser with the winners being drawn on Saturday, Aug. 17 at 2 p.m. in front of the Lodge building at 500 Lincoln Highway in downtown Rochelle.
Two winning tickets will be drawn and the first pulled winner will have the choice of either a Sig Sauer P 238 Compact Pistol .380 ACP or a Glock 17 Gen 4 Pistol 9 mm.
Only 1,500 tickets will be sold and participants do not need to be present to win.
Tickets are being sold for $5 each or five for $20. Anyone interested in buying tickets may call Bud at 815-762-1591 or Jerry at 815-262-4416. Tickets will also be available during the Lincoln Highway Heritage Festival at the root beer float tent at Fifth Avenue and Lincoln Highway in front of the Masonic Lodge.
Winners of the raffle must provide verification they can legally own a firearm in Illinois.
A portion of the proceeds from the drawing will go toward community programs and services provided throughout the year by the lodge members.
