ROCHELLE — For 25 years, the Rochelle Moose has been collecting pop tops to donate to Ronald McDonald Homes.

This past March at the Illinois Moose Association mid-year conference in Springfield, 750 pounds of pop tops were collected for the Ronald McDonald Home in Springfield. The Rochelle Moose contributed 48 pounds to that effort.

Shown in the photo is Rochelle Moose member Clark Baum emptying a pail of pop tops into a bin at the Ronald McDonald home in Madison, Wisconsin. A total of 12 gallons/39 pounds were dropped off on Aug. 6.

Anyone wanting to assist the Moose in providing affordable housing for families with hospitalized children can drop off their pop tops at the Moose Lodge.
