Rochelle Police Report: Oct. 30-Nov. 5, 2023

ROCHELLE — On Nov. 3 at 3:19 p.m. Guadalupe Garcia-Miranda, 21, of Rochelle was arrested for no valid driver’s license and cited for speeding. She was given a notice to appear and a Nov. 17 Rochelle court date.

On Nov. 4 at 6:35 a.m. Jeffrey M. Batten, 34, of Dixon was arrested for no valid driver’s license. He was given a notice to appear and a Dec. 8 Rochelle court date.

On Nov. 4 at 11:01 a.m. Jordan C. Smith, 23, of Aurora was cited for speeding 90 miles per hour in a 70 miles per hour zone. He signed a notice to comply and respond and was given a Dec. 8 Rochelle court date.

On Nov. 4 at 2:20 p.m. Matthew L. Hurst, 39, of Rochelle was arrested on an outstanding Ogle County warrant and transferred.

On Nov. 4 at 2:46 p.m. Barbara J. Schuler, 73, of Rochelle was arrested for domestic battery and transferred.

On Nov. 4 at 5:11 p.m. Leoncio Mejia-Lopez, 48, of Rochelle was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. He signed a promise to comply and respond and was given a Nov. 17 Rochelle court date.

On Nov. 2 at 11:30 a.m. Ashley G. Alberto Jimenez, 22, of Rochelle was cited for passing a school bus loading. She signed a notice to comply and respond and was given a Nov. 17 Rochelle court date.

On Nov. 5 at 2:54 p.m. Paul P. Hipsky, 54, of Willinton, Connecticut was cited for speeding 56 miles per hour in a 35 miles per hour zone. He signed a notice to comply and respond and was given a Nov. 17 Rochelle court date.

On Nov. 4 at 10:58 p.m. Tyler S. Bank, 21, of Paw Paw was cited for suspended registration. He signed a notice to comply and respond and was given a Nov. 17 Rochelle court date.

On Oct. 30 at 8:34 p.m. Alexis M. Mendez, 25, of Oregon was arrested for retail theft. She was given a notice to appear.

All individuals are considered innocent until proven guilty.
