At last Friday’s Illinois Drafting Educators Association regional drafting competition at Kishwaukee College the Rochelle Township High School drafting team led, winning the right to compete at the state tournament next month at Illinois State University.

Rochelle Township High School drafters head to state

ROCHELLE — At last Friday’s Illinois Drafting Educators Association regional drafting competition at Kishwaukee College the Rochelle Township High School drafting team led, winning the right to compete at the state tournament next month at Illinois State University.
Genoa Kingston and Rockford Jefferson were also at the contest.
Results for RTHS students were as follows:

Introduction to Board Drafting - first place, Lexy Lemar; second place, Ben Stoddard
Introduction to Computer Aided Drafting - first place, Frankie Herrera; second place Matt Malaker
Architectural Computer Aided Drafting - second place, DiQuan Ishmon
3 Dimensional Modeling - first place, Zephan Drew; second place, Clayton Coleman
and Architectural Board Drafting - second place, Luis Castro.
