ROCHELLE — Roger C. Simble, 93, of Rochelle, died Jan. 7, 2018. He was the beloved husband of the late Frances nee Martin; loving father of the late Richard (Shannon), Sharon (Gregory) Pack and Joyce; cherished grandfather of Abigail (David) Barron and Richard; great-grandfather of Lillian; dearest brother of the late Howard (Gloria); uncle and great-uncle.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, Jan. 10, from 9 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
Roger was a WWII Army Vet and served in the 101st Airborne Division. He was a member of the Rochelle American Legion, VFW and Senior Citizens of Rochelle. Roger loved to read and travel and was a life-long fan of the Cubs.
