ROCHELLE — About 200 Rochelle Township High School seniors attended the job fair on Friday. Pictured above, many students talk with employers and organizations from the area. Students learned what is offered along with the options available for their careers. At left, Rochelle Fire Department’s Ken Dougherty and Ben Johnson talk to Justin Sandoval and Benjamin Stoddard about a career an a first responder. Dougherty has been with the department for seven years, and Johnson signed on the day after he graduated high school 11 years ago. Both Dougherty and Johnson explained the educational opportunities available including the EMT program and basic firefighter course offered within the fire department.
