The American Legion Post 403 had its bimonthly meeting on June 13, 2018. Britney Salinas was honored for her essay which won in the Local, District and Division levels of the American Legion essay competition on the topic of the national monument which means the most to her. She read her winning essay to the group. Mary Coffey, Division Coordinator presented a certificate and monetary award to Salinas.
