OREGON – Mackenzie Wolfley has been named the new volunteer coordinator at Serenity Hospice and Home.
“I am so excited to be a part of Serenity Hospice,” Wolfley said. “I’m looking forward to getting to know the wonderful volunteers.”
Serenity is hosting a meet-n-greet for Mackenzie on Jan. 12 and invites all Serenity volunteers or those interested in becoming a volunteer to stop by anytime between 1-2 p.m. at Serenity Home located at 1658 S. IL Rt. 2 just south of Oregon. Our current volunteers can meet Mackenzie and prospective volunteers can learn about the many opportunities available at Serenity.
That same afternoon, Wolfley will be hosting a viewing of the 40-minute long, academy nominated film “Prison Terminal: The Last Days of Private Jack Hall” at 2 p.m. You can find out more information about the film at www.prisonterminal.com.
If you would like to just come for the film, at 2 p.m. we ask that you please call and reserve a spot at 815-732-2499. Everyone is welcome.
