ROCHELLE — There will be six candidates on the ballot for the next election for Rochelle City Council. The Consolidated General Election will be held on April 6, 2021.
The three members up for re-election have filed petitions for the General Election. They are Dan McDermott, Kathryn Shaw-Dickey and Don Burke. Also filing petitions were Rosaelia Artgeaga, Juan Martinez and Cassondra Losoya.
According to Rochelle City Clerk Sue Messer, a lottery to determine ballot position for McDermott and Shaw-Dickey will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 1 at 8 a.m. in the clerk’s office at Rochelle City Hall since they filed their petitions at the same time on Nov. 16.
